Mr. Garrett has more than 30 years of in-depth knowledge in market analysis, financial advisory, economic modeling, and forensic valuation. His quantitative modeling experience includes both parametric and non-parametric methods. He has diverse experience working in and completing assignments for clients in industry and government, including DoD, aerospace, computer software, transportation & trucking, forest products, natural resources, wholesale trade, retail, manufacturing, medical, financial and many others.
Mr. Garrett has testified as an expert witness in federal bankruptcy court as well as family court in the state of New York. His assignments have included shareholder & matrimonial disputes, company valuation for federal and state income tax reporting, ownership transaction advisory and intangible asset appraisals.
Mr. Garrett holds an MPS in Natural Resource Management/Economics from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, an MBA from the George Washington University and a BBA in Finance from Temple University.
Matthew is a Professor of Business at Augustana University and a long time business development consultant focused on transactions, investment, mergers and acquisitions and business/project development. Matthew has focused on small to mid-sized companies needing capital and/or management and has been involved with capital raising and acquisition analysis throughout a career that spans thirty years leading investment analysis, due diligence, strategic planning, new product development, marketing and sales for everything from start up to Fortune 500 companies.
Matthew has a breadth of experience having worked in project areas including agriculture, agricultural processing, natural foods, satellite and wireless communications; precision farming, education, fintech, and renewable and sustainable energy. Dr. Willard holds a PhD in International Relations and Organizational Behavior, a MS in Management Science and Engineering, and a BA in Political Science all from Stanford University.
Ms. Willard is an Accomplished senior manager having been promoted through a 23-year career at Raven Industries, Inc. (a $400 million publicly traded company) from entry-level cost accountant to corporate controller. At Raven Sue was responsible for all financial reporting aspects of the company, as well as maintaining adequate internal controls over financial reporting. Directly supervised managers in the areas of general accounting, payroll, cost accounting and financial reporting. Provided information and made presentations to the company's Board of Directors, primarily the board's Audit Committee. Performed treasury functions. Completed and/or reviewed the company's external SEC financial reporting, including the forms 8k,10Q,10k, and Management's Discussion and Analysis. Worked directly with outside auditors on quarterly reviews and the annual financial statement audit.
Following her tenure at Raven Ms. Willard was the Finance Director and Senior Leadership Team member of Feeding South Dakota. In her role at Feeding South Dakota Sue was responsible for the leadership and direction of all financial planning, accounting practices, analysis, reporting, and internal controls. Manages the human resources functions for proper administration of employee benefit programs and compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. Worked closely with the development and operations departments on grant applications and monitoring, providing financial information and cost analysis.
